Welcome
The aim of the Society for the Promotion of Open Source Technology in schools and universities is the promotion of open source technology among young people and the advancement of women in the IT sector.
Instead of buying expensive software we want to show the youth the benefits in the use of open source alternatives.
It is our concern to encourage of young women to experiment with the utilization of virtual space in order to eliminate gender bias. The advancement of women in the IT-sector will be one important step towards gender equality.

Eleonore Digital::Work Together
Eleonore Digital::Work Together is a project interfacing education, medieval history, open source technology, female empowerment, gender mainstreaming and media pedagogy.
It is a collaboration between secondary school students from all over Europe, supporting cultural exchange and the ideas of tolerance and equality.

Since our main goal is to build up networks among young people all over Europe, we want to give you the opportunity to present your school on our platform www.eleonore-digital.org. You can get in touch with students and teachers from all over Europe and watch the progress of our project, without any obligations.
